# Любовь превыше всего

Здесь вы найдёте шесть очерков о русском советском мужском классическом танце. На примере таких танцоров, танцевавших в России в разное время, выделим некоторые особенности русского мужского классического экзерсиса.

Не смотря на то, что в шести очерках мы рассмотрим мужской танец русской школы, здесь естественно не обошлось без женщины, — так сказать, cherchez la femme,— ради которой эти очерки о мужском танце и были написаны. Эта замечательная женщина — Любовь Дмитриевна Менделеева-Блок. Та самая Прекрасная Дама А. Блока, друг А. Вагановой, и автор фундаментального исследования «Классический танец. История и современность».

Её этот незавершённый труд по истории классического танца, который она не успела опубликовать при жизни, посвящён именно развитию технической стороны балета, где экзерсис имеет свою историческую, художественную суть, значимость и философию. И очерки о мужском классическом танце написаны в подражание её историческому методу, в подражание её любви к классическому танцу.
